Sneak Energy Unveils ‘GALACTIC BATTLES’
Disruptive energy drink brand Sneak Energy has launched its most daring campaign yet: Galactic Battles, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the greatest sci-fi movie never made.
The Galactic Battles campaign draws inspiration from other beloved cinematic universes to create a playful sci-fi parody, featuring characters such as Sneak Sneakwalker and Derth Shaker in the central roles. With the Energy Wizards fighting for the side of Bright and the Crash Dominion hoping to envelop the universe in Shadow, Galactic Battles is a timeless story of good versus evil - one that everyone can recognise and relate to.
The limited edition products accompanying the campaign include two new flavours of Sneak’s zero-sugar energy drink: the evil-coded Starberry Blast is a cranberry, raspberry and strawberry treat, and good-guy flavour Pina Collider is a tropical blend of pineapple and coconut. Both are available in the brand’s flagship powdered Energy variant, as well as a caffeine-free Hydrate version.
“Everybody knows and loves the world of Galactic Battles; one of the most iconic sci-fi blockbusters of all time,” says Tim Donald, Creative Director at Sneak Energy. “This campaign is a homage to that famously influential movie, but also a playful send-up of the most enduring sci-fi tropes, themes and motifs.”
In true Sneak fashion, the campaign includes an array of collectors’ items, including shakers, limited edition packaging and poseable action figures - a nod to the frantic merchandising efforts of certain other blockbusters. Sneak’s highly engaged community members love items of a collectible nature, and owning a piece of memorabilia from such a renowned movie is sure to be a huge draw for the Sneak merch enthusiasts.
To support the campaign, Sneak has also produced a launch film featuring clips from the beloved movie, as well as interviews with the original cast and crew, adding to the authenticity and immersive nature of this product launch.
The Galactic Battles collection launched on May 2nd.
